This is Us






I'm Jacey Lane, (hence the name of the blog). 

I made a DRASTIC change and moved 2,000 miles west to Utah for 4 loooong years for school!

But then get this... I moved allllll the way to Utah.... just to fall in love with a Kentucky boy, get married, and then move back to good ole KY to finish our schooling here! LOL {what are the odds}

I do life with my best friend. James & I sealed the deal August 11, 2018!
With our pup Teddy by our side, it's an adventure everyday!

I have the travel bug.... BADDD... I love adventurin to new places!

The salt life is the best life (my love for the ocean is unreeeaaal)

I'm majoring in Exercise Science causeeeee my dream job is to be a Physical Therapist!

James is going to School for Chiropractic & Personal Training. So eventually he will go into business with his dad!

We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! Not sure what we'd do without the church in our life providing us with such amazing gospel truths... (check out the linkkkk)

I want the world and people I love who aren't near me to be able to see and read about all of our adventures in the next chapters of life.

The past couple of weeks I found that I had been having a difficult time, kind of beating myself up; feeling full of regrets and "would have's" and "could have's". Thinking back on the last 3 roller coaster years of my life and thinking of all of the trials I have been put through. Hearing people talk about it all and bring it up to me, I found myself getting so frustrated. I found myself putting the blame on me. Surprise!

So my best friend Bailee had no idea that I was getting in yesterday. I had told her I would be getting in on the 22nd. I hadn't told any of my friends when I'd be getting in! So last night I showed up at her house and surprised her with my appearance! It's crazy how much you can miss a friend. 6 months is too long to have to go without us seeing each other! We talked for forever, and then decided to go and surprise a few more people that night. We drove over to surprise our friend Sarah while she was studying :) I loveddd seeing Sarah and having her catch me up on things going on. She is like a little sister to me. It's so good to see these wonderful people! And of course me and Bailee hung out and had a girls night for the rest of the evening just talking about everythinggg and watching a movie!  It feels so good to be reunited with my best friend!
