Surprise!

So my best friend Bailee had no idea that I was getting in yesterday. I had told her I would be getting in on the 22nd. I hadn't told any of my friends when I'd be getting in!
So last night I showed up at her house and surprised her with my appearance!
It's crazy how much you can miss a friend. 6 months is too long to have to go without us seeing each other!


We talked for forever, and then decided to go and surprise a few more people that night.


We drove over to surprise our friend Sarah while she was studying :) I loveddd seeing Sarah and having her catch me up on things going on. She is like a little sister to me.
It's so good to see these wonderful people!
And of course me and Bailee hung out and had a girls night for the rest of the evening just talking about everythinggg and watching a movie! 
It feels so good to be reunited with my best friend!

This is Us

I'm Jacey Lane , (hence the name of the blog).  I made a DRASTIC change and moved 2,000 miles west to Utah for 4 loooong years for school! But then get this... I moved allllll the way to Utah.... just to fall in love with a Kentucky boy, get married, and then move  back  to good ole KY to finish our schooling here! He Put a Ring on it

Many people have not yet heard the story about how James popped the big question.... So... here it goes.  How James pulled off the world's biggest surprise: Last Sunday evening, James said that we should do something fun the next day before he had to work. It had been awhile since we had been able to go on a nice date together.... He also asked me if I wanted to go Ring Shopping as a part of our date too.  I looooved that idea. We had never gone looking at rings together before, so I was over the moon about the idea! So.... Monday comes and we head out to go to lunch at Red Fuego {a favorite of ours} After lunch we went to 4 or 5 different ring stores around town and it was a blast. Our future was becoming even more real as we experienced choosing rings that we liked together.  After ring shopping, we had some time before James had to go to work.
