A Stroll Down Jacey Lane

Last week we went  tubing!  Down the Provo River... I think.. I'm still not very good at locations in Utah yet. Oh well, wherever we tubed, it was  GREAT! Who knew that you could go to a tire store and buy a blown up tire tube for going down the river?! Not me! But that's what we did! And it was cheaper than renting one, plus the additional bonus of owning your own tube for future adventures. My tube now currently sits in my apartment, also making a really good seat for chillin in! haha gotta use what ya got! Kay and the water...  FREEZING!!  HOLEY MOLEY! It was the kind of cold that made your butt hurt! It wasn't until our lower halves were completely numb that we couldn't notice the freezing water anymore haha, but thank goodness the sun was out in full power that day so we didn't completely freeze! Moving out to Utah was a huge decision! And it is far away from my family... 2,000 miles far away to be pretty accurate. But it's where I needed to end up to open up the next chapter of my life! We packed up the family car, and Drove ... yeah.. we drove.. 2,000 miles.. to Orem, Utah.. LONGEST TRIP OF MY LIFE. This is the last picture I took from my little small town back in Kentucky. Look it up, it was voted The Most Beautiful Small Town in America . My last walk down main street before I left it. Never thought that i'd miss this little town, but I'm on to new things :)  These two pictures were  THE WORST  part of the journey, don't let the pretty pictures deceive you.... Kansas... holy moley... Kansas  NEVER  ended. And it was all flat boring farmland. No cities. No nothing. No exaggeration, Kansas felt like an eternity to get through. Not to mention we got attacked by a huge hail storm with jumbo hail bouncing all off of our car in a Walmar...

I'm Jacey Lane , (hence the name of the blog).  I made a DRASTIC change and moved 2,000 miles west to Utah for 4 loooong years for school! But then get this... I moved allllll the way to Utah.... just to fall in love with a Kentucky boy, get married, and then move  back  to good ole KY to finish our schooling here!
